Agartala: June 09. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today expressed displeasure on a section of SC community BJP leaders for not attending executive meeting of SC Morcha Pradesh Committee.
An executive meeting of Bharatiya Janata SC Morcha Pradesh Committee was organized on Friday at a private hotel adjacent to Usha Bazar. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the meeting.
A number of Ministers and MLAs were absent from the meeting despite being members of the SC Morcha Pradesh Committee. While discussing in the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his displeasure over this.
“I don’t know why some people didn’t attend the program. There are many SC ministers, MLAs too. But they are not present. It an executive meeting of state and I feel they should have attend the program”, said the CM.
Later, speaking at the executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata SC Morcha Pradesh Committee held in Ushabazar, Chief Minister Dr. Saha highlighted the state government’s commitment to achieving the goals of “Seva, Sushasan and “Garib Kalyan” as envisaged by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The meeting commenced with Chief Minister Dr. Saha inaugurating the proceedings by lighting a lamp, in accordance with the party’s organizational protocols. The gathering focused on deliberating various crucial issues, with particular emphasis on strengthening the party’s organization and establishing closer ties with the general public. Recognizing the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister underscored the significance of building strong relationships with people across the state, aiming to secure substantial victories for the party’s candidates.
