Agartala, 10th December 2023:    In a momentous occasion slated for tomorrow at 3 pm, Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha is set to inaugurate the long-awaited government quarters for doctors and nurses at Tulamura Primary Health Center. The move comes after years of hardship faced by medical professionals who were compelled to find private accommodations, impacting the quality of healthcare services in the region.

The absence of proper housing for healthcare personnel forced doctors to reside in the homes of local residents, while nurses had to rent houses in Udaipur to be able to serve the medical needs of Tulamura Primary Health Center. This situation not only affected the well-being of the medical staff but also hindered the overall efficiency of the healthcare services provided to the community.  The groundbreaking ceremony is set to take place tomorrow, with Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha leading the inauguration ceremony and addressing the local populace. Prior to the inauguration, today MLA Jitendra Majumdar visited Tulamura Primary Health Center to inspect the progress of the construction work and assess the preparedness of the staff to welcome the Chief Minister. Majumdar engaged with health department personnel, ensuring that all necessary arrangements were in place for the historic event.
