PM Modi takes initiative to build developed India: MoS Pratima Bhoumik

Agartala, December 09: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik on Saturday applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives aimed at building a developed India by 2047. The broadcast featured the Prime Minister’s virtual interaction with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, organized at Shalgarh under Tepania block.

During the event, MoS Pratima Bhoumik underscored the ongoing efforts led by Prime Minister Modi to transform India into a developed nation within the next 26 years. She emphasized that the central government, under the Prime Minister’s leadership, has launched various projects encompassing the overall development of people from diverse sections of society, including women, youth, farmers, and workers.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to providing due rights to marginalized members of society, the Union Minister outlined the implementation of numerous projects and services aimed at economic development and public welfare. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been conceptualized to ensure the effective delivery of the benefits of these initiatives to the people.

During the event, the Union Minister announced the Prime Minister’s vision to employ drones for applying fertilizers and pesticides to the land by 2026. Additionally, efforts are underway to extend the benefits of 17 Central Flagship Schemes to the residents of the state through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The event, presided over by Tepania Panchayat Samiti Chairman Jharna Eani Das, witnessed the presence of Gomati District Magistrate Tarit Kanti Chakma, who delivered the welcome address. Other dignitaries present included Udaipur SDM Jayanta Bhattacharjee, BDO of Tepania Block Dibyashree Dasgupta, social worker Prabir Das. Various government departments showcased their projects through exhibition stalls, and the guests ceremoniously handed over the benefits of these initiatives to the beneficiaries.
