Agartala, 24th December 2024: High-quality potato seeds and various vegetable seeds were distributed to around 80 farmers under the Ambassa RD block on Tuesday. The event was organized at the Ambassa RD Block premises in presence of Ambassa BAC Chairman Parimal Debbarma, Ambassa BDO Munmun Debbarma, and former Upa-Pradhan of Uttar Nali Chha Gram Panchayat among others.
During the event, BAC Chairman Parimal Debbarma and Ambassa BDO Munmun Debbarma handed over the potato seeds to the farmers. In an interview, Parimal Debbarma explained that the seeds were provided with the financial assistance of KBK Dhalai. “These potato seeds were distributed to support the farmers under Ambassa block who are unable to purchase light seeds and cultivate them due to various reasons,” he said. Each of the 80 farmers received one sack of potato seeds free of charge.
The initiative aims to assist farmers in improving their agricultural productivity and ensuring a better yield. The distribution of seeds is expected to benefit the local farming community significantly, providing them with the necessary resources to enhance their cultivation practices.
