Agartala, 29th May 2025: The Tripura government today reshuffled two Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers, four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, and two Tripura Civil Service (TCS) officers.According to the order, Tamal Majumdar, IAS, who was serving as Additional Secretary, Revenue and GA (AR) Department, has been appointed as the District Magistrate and Collector of Unakoti District.
K. Shashi Kumar, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests (Territorial) and Secretary of the Science, Technology & Environment Department (additional charge), has now been given the additional responsibility of Secretary, Tribal Welfare (including TRP & PTG) Department. He has been relieved from the additional charge of the Science, Technology & Environment Department.

Brijesh Pandey, IAS, who was holding dual charges as Chief Electoral Officer and Secretary, Tribal Welfare (including TRP & PTG), has been relieved from the charge of Tribal Welfare.
Chaitanya Murti, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Tripura, has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Science, Technology & Environment Department.
The order further states that Dilip Kumar Chakma, IAS, the outgoing District Magistrate and Collector of Unakoti District, Kailashahar, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC).Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, currently the DM & Collector of West Tripura District with additional charge of Municipal Commissioner, AMC, has been relieved from the additional charge of Municipal Commissioner, AMC.
Among the TCS officers reshuffled Subrata Datta, Senior Deputy Collector, West Tripura, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Revenue Department and Rupon Das, Additional SDM, Sonamura, has also been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Revenue Department.
