Iftar items distributed at Boxanagar to support families during Ramadan

Agartala, 15th March 2025:   In the spirit of Ramadan, a month of self-purification and reflection, a local social worker, MD Jewel extended his support to 35 needy families in Anandpur and Kamalnagar Gram Panchayats. Known for his community work under Anandpur Gram Panchayat, Jewel distributed food packets to alleviate the financial pressures many face during this holy month.

Each food packet valued at Rs 1,025 included essentials such as potatoes, onions, chickpeas, pulses, rice, dates and other items. Speaking on the occasion, MD Jewel said, “I hope this small effort brings some relief to these families during Ramadan. It is our responsibility to support each other, especially in times of need.”

The initiative cost a total of Rs 36,225 was met with gratitude. A recipient expressed their appreciation, saying, “We are thankful for this generous help. May Allah bless MD Jewel for his kindness.” The gesture has brought joy and a sense of community to those benefitting from it.
