Agartala, 18th February 2025: The State Model Career Center District Employment Exchange Agartala under the National Career Service Project of the Government of India organized a job fair today at Shram Bhavan here. The event saw participation from five companies, including four local firms and one from outside the state, who were on the lookout for promising young talents.
The job fair aimed at providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth, facilitated the selection and recruitment process for 250 posts across 13 categories. From early morning, the venue buzzed with the presence of eager job seekers, each hoping to secure a job offer.
As part of the National Career Service Project, this initiative focuses on bridging the gap between employers and job seekers. By establishing contact with various companies, the project ensures that candidates are selected and recruited based on their qualifications and the requirements of the companies.
The same approach was employed during today’s job fair, where representatives from different companies conducted interviews and recruited candidates according to their needs and the candidates’ qualifications. The event proved to be a significant opportunity for many unemployed youth, who were able to secure jobs through this initiative.
