Agartala, April 30, 2023: After the assembly elections, some immoral incidents took place in various parts of the state. Some people are involved in this immoral act. A special task force has been formed to identify these people and take action against them. The main goal of the government is to maintain law and order in any place under any circumstances. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this at the blood donation camp organized by the Tripura Government Employees Federation on Sunday.
Speaking about the blood donation camp at Ujjayanta Market in the capital city’s Jackson Gate, the Chief Minister said that due to the election, the blood banks of the state had seen a blood crisis. So he urged everyone to come forward to donate blood.
Responding to his call, everyone is coming forward to donate blood. There is no substitute for blood. A sense of brotherhood is awakened in all through blood donation. When a patient donates blood, the patient feels what a priceless gift he has received. The blood donor also understands the value of this blood donation.
Talking about the formation of STF, the Chief Minister said that after the elections, there have been repeated complaints of terrorism from various quarters. Repeated warnings have been given by the government. The party has also warned repeatedly. Still, allegations of unethical practices were coming to light in some places. Hence the formation of STF. STF has been given full responsibility. STF will take up their role where there are cases of extortion, mafia activities.
The Chief Minister said that action will be taken against those who are associated with money laundering and mafia.
Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, Councillor Ratna Dutta and others were also present on this day.
