Agartala: September 29: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today claimed that due to some ‘reasons’ many people of the state are not aware about the various schemes and services provided by the state government.
“The present government is working with transparency in implementing development programs. You all know what good governance means. We have noticed that due to various reasons still some people are not properly aware about the various schemes and services provided by the state government. The government is delivering the facilities of various government projects and services to people’s homes. For this purpose fairs and camps are being held in every house at Gram Panchayat, Village Committee level in the state”, said Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha said while inaugurating the newly constructed two-storied building of Jampui Class XII School at Betlingchhip today.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the Jampui Block-based Good Governance Mela and Camp at a function organized at the Jampui 12th standard school grounds. Moreover, the Chief Minister inaugurated the paragliding take off and landing point through virtual medium at Vhangmun.
Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said, “I am happy that today I came here in Jampui hill. I will always remember the way you welcomed me”.He thanked everyone on behalf of the state government and himself. The Chief Minister said that the central and state governments have various schemes to improve the standard of living of the people.
“While various facilities have reached the people of most parts of the state, they are still not available to some people due to various reasons. These facilities should be provided not only at the district, subdivision or block level, but also at the gram panchayat and village level. That is why this initiative were take”, said CM.
