Agartala, 27th April 2025: A tragic auto accident took place this afternoon near Satsang Ashram, Charilam along the Agartala-Udaipur road leaving four people injured including the driver. The vehicle reportedly lost control and overturned due to excessive speed.
Among the injured, Chayarani Debbarma (35) sustained critical injuries and was immediately referred to GBP Hospital, Agartala after initial treatment at Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. The other injured individuals were identified as Sambhu Roy (46), the auto driver, Dipak Debbarma (30) and Paresh Debbarma (40). The incident highlights ongoing concerns about road safety and vehicle control in the area. Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the mishap.
