North Routhkhala emerging as a crime hub: Police recover stolen bike

Agartala, 27th April 2025:  In what appears to highlight North Routhkhala as a hotspot for crime, authorities have recovered a stolen bike worth Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand from the residence of Nurul Haque. The bike was reported stolen three days back from Amarendranagar area under Takarjala police station.

The Bishalgarh police in coordination with the DIB branch successfully tracked down the stolen property this afternoon. However, the prime suspect, Rajiv—son of Nurul Haque—remains at large. Rajiv has reportedly faced multiple allegations in the past.Residents are expressing growing concerns as North Routhkhala faces increasing incidents linked to criminal activities. Law enforcement agencies are urged to ramp up efforts to curb the situation.
