NLU Tripura and NIT Agartala inks MoU for academic and technical collaboration

Agartala, 1st July 2024:   National Law University Tripura (NLU Tripura) and National Institute of Technology Agartala (NIT Agartala) have formalized a strategic partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday.

This bilateral agreement aims to foster extensive academic and technical collaboration between the two institutions, encompassing collaborative research and development, curriculum reforms, student exchange programs with credit transfer, faculty exchanges, resource sharing including access to advanced instruments, knowledge sharing of best practices, and joint outreach initiatives.

Notably, joint research endeavors will result in shared intellectual property rights, affirming NLU Tripura and NIT Agartala’s commitment to innovation and academic excellence.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Sarat Kumar Patra, Director of NIT Agartala, Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor of NLU Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Nachiketa Mital, Registrar of NLU Tripura, and Dr. Ripon Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor of Law NLU Tripura and faculty members of NIT Agartala.

Prof. Singh and Prof. Patra both highlighted the collaborative spirit and mutual dedication for enhancing educational opportunities and research capabilities in the region.
