Agartala, 31st August 2024: The oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected members of the Dukli Panchayat Samiti was successfully completed on Saturday. The event was graced by the presence of Deputy Speaker and MLA Ramprasad Pal, among other dignitaries.
Addressing the reporters, Ramprasad Pal confirmed the completion of the oath-taking ceremony for the elected members of the Dukli Block Panchayat Samiti. Additionally, the chairman and vice-chairman of Dukli Block were sworn in during the ceremony.
Pal highlighted that the Dukli Block comprises 11 panchayats from Suryamaninagar, 5 from Badharghat, 3 from Golaghati and several from Kamalasagar. He emphasized that the panchayat members have attained their positions through the democratic process, being elected by the people. He urged the newly elected representatives to prioritize public service and make significant decisions for the development of their villages.
