PCC delegation leaves for Guwahati

Agartala: May 07. A delegation of the Pradesh Congress Committee left for Guwahati to press the demand for the establishment of a second railway line and a railway division in Tripura. Congress leadership and workers left for Guwahati by rail on Sunday afternoon.

Pradesh President Birajit Sinha said that the workers along with the leadership of the Pradesh Congress left for Guwahati by rail demanding the establishment of a second railway line in Tripura. They will hand over a memorandum through a deputation at the NF Railway headquarters on Monday. This memorandum will mention the district headquarters and sub-divisions of each district from Dharmanagar to Sabroom which this second railway line would touch. At the same time demand will be made to establish railway division in Dharmanagar.
