Agartala, 22nd May 2024 :  Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday said that people of West Bengal are eagerly waiting to cast vote to BJP candidate for the victory to come out from the misrule of Trinamool Congress.

He said that there is no peace in West Bengal. “There is only chaos here. People want to live in a peaceful environment. So people are waiting to vote for Bharatiya Janata Party candidate so that they can come out from the misrule of Trinamool Congress. BJP has set a target of winning in 32 seats in West Bengal in this Lok Sabha election. The Trinamool Congress government is running misrule here. So people are asking how to get away from them”, he said.

Chief Minister said this on Wednesday while participating in a road show organized in support of Dr. Anirban Ganguly, the Bharatiya Janata Party nominated candidate of West Bengal’s Jadabpur Lok Sabha constituency and chairman of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Foundation.Speaking with media, Dr Saha said that the people of West Bengal are waiting for June 4th, when the results will be announced.

“We will reach the target of 32 seats in Bengal. Trinamool Congress government is running misrule here. They are mired in corruption. People want to get out of this mismanagement and misrule. And this is the Lok Sabha election. It will be clear from this election in which direction West Bengal will move forward”, said Dr Saha.

He further said, “CPIM ruled Tripura similar like TMC. Many people were killed, terrorism and arson. This is how the Trinamool Congress is doing this in West Bengal as well. We have ousted Left Front from Tripura which was possible only because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In 2018, the BJP came to power in Tripura under the able leadership of the Prime Minister, defeating the Left. And in 2023, the party has won Tripura with an absolute majority. This time also polling was held peacefully in two constituencies of Tripura in the Lok Sabha elections. Because people want peace”.
