Agartala, 14th June 2025: In a significant moment for social impact and positive change, “Positive Barta” was formally conferred with a prestigious award by the Asia Book of Records today, under the rare and remarkable category of “Largest Social Empowerment Initiative across Multiple Platforms by an Individual.” The recognition ceremony, held at the iconic Press Club of India in New Delhi, celebrated a movement that has quietly, yet profoundly, touched countless lives across the nation.
The event, which commenced on Saturday afternoon, was graced by distinguished guests including Sanjeev Ghai, representative of Rastrapati Bhavan, Dr. Sweta Jha, representative of Asia Book of Records, Shikandar Yadav of Ministry of Home Affairs Govt. of India, Mukesh Kaushik, Delhi Bureau Chief of Dainik Bhaskar, Captain Bhagirath Samui, Arjun Awardee and Ex-Airforce Officer, Mohd Irshad Ahmad, Senior Advocate, supreme court New Delhi, Dr. Suresh Singhvi, Co-Director, Liver Transplant Sir Gangaram Hospital, Goutam Lahri, President, Press Club of India, S.H.SHAMS, Group Editor of Missile Express Group of Newspapers along with other changemakers and torchbearers of hope from various corners of the country, all gathered to honour the remarkable journey of Positive Barta. This day marks not just the bestowal of an award, but a vibrant celebration of a dream, a voice, and an unwavering commitment to human empowerment.
Through an outstanding ceremony Dr. Sweta Jha, representative of Asia Book of Records handed over the award to the founder and CEO of Positive Barta Malay Pit. In her speech she said that the concept of Positive Barta is unprecedented. There is no such concept in the entire Asia pacific region. For this uniqueness they are conferring this award as the mark of recognition of its uniqueness.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, Positive Barta also organized a national awareness program titled “Positive Barta: A Movement of Positivity and Empowerment.” The program served as a confluence of minds and hearts, bringing together thought leaders from diverse fields including education, healthcare, civil society, women entrepreneurs and from several other parts of the society.
In a world often inundated with negativity, fear, and division, Positive Barta dared to carve a different path. He recalled the tireless effort made by entire Positive Barta team, under his flagship he ended with a simple invitation: “Carry one positive story home today. We believe that even a single story of hope can change a life. Imagine what millions can do.”
