Agartala Nov 09: State Chief Electoral Officer, Kiran Gitte organized a Cycle rally with the theme “Pedal for Participative Elections” on Wednesday morning in the heart of capital city.The Cycle rally was flagged off by the CEO Kiran Gitte and DM west from the Umakanta Stadium, Agartala.
Around 300 participants including Agartala Cycloholics Foundation, a cycling community along with other school students and other Defence personnel joined the rally with great enthusiasm.Speaking on the occasion, CEO Kiran Gitte said, “The cycle rally has been organized on the eve of draft electoral roll publication from today, November 09”.He added, the rally is aimed to create awareness among the 18 voters to come forward and enroll their names in the voters list and exercise their voting rights.
