Sudhangshu urges students to uphold values at Rabindranath Tagore College event

Agartala, 29th November 2025:   A vibrant freshers’ welcome ceremony was held on Saturday at Bishalgarh Town Hall, hosted by the students of Rabindranath Tagore College, one of Sepahijala district’s prominent educational institutions.

Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das inaugurated the event and highlighted the significance of the occasion, calling it an important milestone as students begin a new phase of their academic life. He urged the newcomers to pursue education with commitment while upholding values of humanity and public service.

MLA Sushanta Deb, attending the programme, expressed confidence that the college’s disciplined environment and strong value system would help students build successful futures. MLA Antara Deb Sarkar also greeted the freshers, encouraging them to move ahead with confidence and optimism.

The college principal and other dignitaries were present during the ceremony, making the event a memorable start for the new batch.
