Agartala, 6th August 2024: As the Tripura Panchayat elections approach, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intensified its campaign efforts. On the final day of campaigning, a spirited bike rally was organized from the Ranirbazar Cattle Market, featuring the 8th and 9th ward BJP nominees.
The rally toured various areas of Ranirbazar. Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and BJP candidates Shivayan Das and Manju Das participated in the rally.
Addressing the rally, Minister Chowdhury highlighted the BJP government’s unopposed victory in approximately 5,000 seats across the state. “Today marks the last day of our campaign. The three-tier Panchayat elections will take place on August 8, with the results to be announced on August 12. We are confident that the Bharatiya Janata Party will emerge victorious on the day of the results,” he said.
