Sushanta  reviews progress of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and PGS 2.0

Agartala, 30th November 2023:   The review meeting of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Prati Ghore Sushasan 2.0 was held in the conference hall of Sepahijala DM office on Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by Food and Transport minister Sushanta Chowdhury, who is also the district in-charge for the two initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Chairperson Supriya Das Datta, Bishalgarh Assembly MLA Sushanta Deb, Dhanpur MLA Bindu Debnath, Kamalasagar MLA Antara Sarkar Deb, District Magistrate Nagesh Kumar, and other officials and representatives.

The meeting discussed the progress and challenges of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Prati Ghore Sushasan, which aim to reach out to every household in the state and provide them with various benefits and facilities. The minister said that the Government of India and the State Government of Tripura have appointed one state-wise in-charge, Additional Secretary to the Government of India M Nagaraj, and one IAS/IFS officer for each district to oversee the implementation of the two initiatives.

He also said that in the first phase, they have been able to provide various benefits to a total of 22 lakh people whom they could not reach earlier. He urged everyone to work together to successfully complete the second phase and achieve the vision of a developed and prosperous India.
