‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign: Tripura Gramin Bank holds drawing competition

Agartala, 24th September 2024:   Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) organized a drawing competition at Shankaracharya Vidyayatan Girls Higher Secondary School as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The event aimed to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness among students.

Anup Kumar Saha, General Manager of TGB led the program on behalf of the bank’s Head Office accompanied by key officials, including Jeet Bhattacharya (Manager), Odisi Chakraborty, Poonam Chakraborty, Puja Sinha, and Mukti Samaddar (Officers). The initiative received strong support from the school, with Headmistress Madam Mousumi, Dulal Saha (Secretary of the Managing Committee), President and other teachers present.

Fifty students from Class VII enthusiastically participated in the competition showcasing their creativity on the theme of cleanliness and hygiene. The event highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean environment and raised awareness of the role youth can play in promoting sustainable practices.

The drawing competition served as an inspiring activity to further the goals of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, reinforcing the commitment of Tripura Gramin Bank to social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
