Tinku Roy and Kalyani Roy inaugurate new CDPO office at Teliamura

Agartala, 20th February 2025:    The inauguration of the new Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) office in Teliamura was held with great enthusiasm today. Social Welfare and Social Education minister Tinku Roy graced the event as the chief guest. The inauguration ceremony was attended by local MLA Chief Whip Kalyani Saha Roy, Teliamura Municipal Council Chairman Rupak Sarkar, Teliamura Panchayat Samiti Vice-Chairman Nirmal Sutradhar, and social worker Achintya Bhattacharya.

Speaking at the event, MLA Kalyani Saha Roy expressed her optimism about the impact of the new CDPO office on the community. She stated, “This new building will bring a positive message for the entire area in the coming days. The current government has been working tirelessly in the interest of the common people since the beginning.”

Minister Tinku Roy highlighted the significance of the inauguration, emphasizing the critical role of Anganwadi workers and helpers in society. “Today’s inauguration is very relevant. The contribution of Anganwadi workers and helpers is invaluable, as their roles are essential in developing our society,” he remarked.

The event witnessed a remarkable turnout, with people from various walks of life, including common citizens and employees from different departments, gathering to mark the occasion.

Social worker Achintya Bhattacharya noted, “The presence and spontaneity of the people here today is a testament to the community’s support and enthusiasm for this new initiative.”

The ceremony concluded with a collective sense of pride and hope for the future, as the new CDPO office is expected to enhance the welfare services and support the community’s development in Teliamura.
