Tipra Motha Party Meets Union Home Minister, Seeks Swift Implementation of Tiprasa Accord

Agartala, 1st August 2025 :  The founder of the Tipra Motha Party, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Friday to press for the timely implementation of the Tiprasa Accord.

An eight-member delegation led by Pradyot included Member of Parliament Kriti Devi Debbarma, Chief Executive Member of TTAADC Purna Chandra Jamatia, Minister of State Brishaketu Debbarma, MLAs Ranjit Debbarma and Philip Kumar Reang, and District Council Member Saudagar Kalai.

Following the meeting, Pradyot shared on Facebook, “Had a very good meeting with Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and discussed the implementation of the Tiprasa Accord for the people of our state.”

He added that the Home Minister gave his assurance that the Government of India would stand by its commitment to the Tiprasa people and personally monitor the progress of the accord’s implementation.
