Traffic Diversion Advisory Issued Ahead of PM Modi’s Visit to Udaipur

Agartala, 20th September 2025:   To ensure smooth traffic movement during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Udaipur in Gomati district on September 22—where he will inaugurate the beautification of the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple premises—the Superintendent of Police, Gomati, has issued a detailed traffic advisory.

According to the order, vehicles from South Tripura to Agartala must take the route via Garjee–Tulamura–Kakraban–Melagarh–Bishramganj, while traffic from Agartala to South Tripura will be diverted through Bishramganj–Melaghar–Kakraban–Tulamura–Garjee.

For Amarpur–Agartala travel, vehicles from Amarpur will move via Dropgate Market–Dhanisagar bank–Jail Road–New Town Road–Chanban Bridge, while those from Agartala towards Amarpur will use Chanban Subash Bridge–Central Road–Poultry Road–Dropgate Market.

Meanwhile, traffic between Melaghar/Kakraban and Udaipur has been directed to ply through Kishoreganj–Shilghati–Tepania.The advisory is aimed at minimizing congestion and ensuring security during the high-profile visit.
