TSF Flags Alleged Recruitment Irregularities in TTAADC, Warns of Action if Charges Proved

Date:

Agartala, 25th April 2026:   The Twipra Students’ Federation (TSF) on Saturday raised serious concerns over alleged recruitment carried out under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council without any official notification or public advertisement.

TSF, an indigenous student organisation from Tripura and a constituent body of the North East Students’ Organisation, said it has taken strong note of recent media reports highlighting the issue.

In a joint statement, TSF General Secretary Hamalu Jamatia and President Samrat Debbarma expressed concern, stressing that transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity must be ensured in all recruitment processes.

“Any deviation from these principles undermines the prospects of deserving youths and students who depend on a fair and open system for employment opportunities,” the statement said.

The student body said it is examining the matter thoroughly and will work to ascertain the facts. It warned that if any irregularities or malpractice are established, the organisation will take appropriate steps and strongly oppose such practices.

Reiterating its commitment, TSF stated that it will continue to act as a voice for students and youths, ensuring accountability and justice. The organisation also appealed to the public to extend their support in its efforts to uphold transparency and fairness in governance.
