TTTWA to hold thanks-giving ceremony on December 11

Agartala, December 05, 2022: Tripura TET Teachers Welfare Association is going organize a thanks-giving programme for the government for recruiting such a large number of teachers.

Speaking to media persons here at Agartala Press Club on Monday noon, TTTWA secretary Ajay Pal said “Since the first TET exam was introduced in 2015 in the state on talent development, this qualifying exam is being conducted every year and the government is recruiting very actively. Therefore, first of all, thanks have been given on behalf of the organization for this goodwill of the government.”

“In November 2017, the organization made its official debut as Tripura TET Teachers Welfare Association. Then all the teachers who joined the service in 2018 were given fresh recruitment in December of that year. In 2020, when the corona pandemic occurred, the organization suspended such events for some time. This year, the government has appointed such a large number of teachers together, so the organization will congratulate and renew all the teachers who joined the service till 2020, 2021 and 2022 at Muktdhara Auditorium on December 11 next”, he added.

Secretary also said that the organization hopes that the government will quickly issue appointment letters to the remaining qualified teachers.

In this event on December 11 next, Education minister Ratan Lal Nath, ICA minister Sushanta Chowdhury and Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar and other distinguished guests will be present.

The organization has been demanding regulars since day one and will continue to do so in the future, the organization said. In addition to this demand, there are other ancillary demands to be presented to the government on behalf of the organization through the event.

Incidentally, the debut of this organization was to abolish fixed salary recruitment system. The organization is confident that the present government will take a supportive role in the abolition of the fixed pay system by the Left Front government and soon the five-year fixed salary recruitment will be abolished.
