Hindi imposition in LIC website, Stalin demands rollback of linguistic tyranny

Date:

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday condemned Hindi imposition

in LIC website and demanded immediate rollback of this linguistic tyranny.

He said the LIC website has been reduced to a propaganda tool for Hindi imposition and even the option to select English was displayed in India.

It is nothing but cultural and language imposition by force, trampling on India’s diversity, he said.

In a social media post, he said “the LIC website has been reduced to a propaganda tool for Hindi

imposition. Even the option to select English is displayed in Hindi!”.

“This is nothing but cultural and language imposition by force, trampling on India’s diversity. LIC

grew with the patronage of all Indians. How dare it betray the majority of its contributors?, he wrote.

“We demand an immediate rollback of this linguistic tyranny”, Mr Stalin added.
