Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday expressed grief over the martyrdom of Naik Kuldeep Singh who sacrificed his life in the line of duty, during his posting in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said Naik Kuldeep Singh had attained martyrdom while performing his duty in Jammu and Kashmir. Mann said the state government is solidly with the aggrieved family in this hour of crisis.
The supreme sacrifice made by the brave heart will ever inspire the younger generations to make selfless sacrifices for the country, the chief minister said.
He said that the state government is duty bound to help the families of these brave soldiers who sacrifice their life at the altar of the motherland. He said that all sort of assistance to family of martyr is in consonance with the commitment of the State government to ensure the well being of the soldiers (from Armed forces, paramilitary and Police) and their families.
