Rich tributes were paid to Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao on the occasion of his 103rd birth anniversary on Friday.
Several public representatives and high-ranking officials, including Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, High Court Judge Justice NV Shravan Kumar, Government Adviser Harkare Venugopal, MLAs Vemula Veeresham and Birla Ilaiah, B.C. Commission Chairman Krishna Mohan Rao, daughter and MLC Vani Devi, son P V Prabhakar Rao, GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata, I&PR Commissioner Hanumantha Rao, Hyderabad Collector Anudeep, former Minister Kunduru Jana Reddy, Prof. Kodanda Ram, V. Hanumantha Rao, and others, visited Gyan Bhoomi at P V Marg, Necklace Road, to pay floral tributes to PV Narasimha Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, they recalled his service to the nation. Narasimha Rao was versatile, multilingual, and the architect of the country’s economic reforms. They praised him as a great genius who spread the fame of Telangana to continents and as a visionary who improved the economic condition of the country by implementing crucial reforms.
