Gunman opens fire near Israeli consulate in Munich

A gunman opened fire near the Israeli consulate in Munich on Wednesday coinciding with the anniversary of the 1972 Munich Olympics terror attack, media reports said. No one was injured.

According to the Kan public broadcaster, the gunman was “neutralized.”

Videos circulating on social media showed a heavy exchange of fire near the consulate, located close to a museum on the city’s Nazi-era history, The Times of Israel reported.
