The iconic playback singer Sonu Nigam has revealed the Satrangi Re India Tour, a dynamic seven-city musical extravaganza celebrating the seven hues of love, each symbolizing a different emotion inspired by his songbook, to celebrate his 52nd birthday.
The tour, presented by NR Talent & Event Management in association with BookMyShow, will travel to Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Shillong, and Delhi‑NCR. Ticket sales open on August 1, 2025 only on BookMyShow
Coinciding with the announcement, Nigam released ‘Kahani Meri’, an emotional single blending Hindustani and Carnatic classical influences. Shot amid the stunning landscapes of Leh, the song reflects introspection and soulful journeys. The video features Sonu alongside his youngest fan, one‑year‑old Vedarrth, who shares his birthday, adding a deeply personal touch.
Thanking his fans, Nigam stated: “Over the last four decades of my musical journey, my fans have showered me with so much love and I’ve always been very grateful. Satrangi Re 2025 is a way of celebrating our symbiotic bond of love through different colours, each depicting a specific emotion. I am also thrilled to be celebrating my birthday with Vedarrth, who shares his birthday with me and turns one this year. His parents tell me that he has been an ardent admirer of my music since he was in his mother’s womb and continues to be so. Having him launch ‘Kahani Meri’ is heartening.”
