Deputy  Chief Minister  meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi

Agartala: July 23. Tripura’s  deputy Chief Jishnu Dev Varma today met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted him an appointment at the PM Residence to discuss the development of Tripura.

“I got the opportunity to present him a folder highlighting the bio village pilot project of my Bio Tech council and also the TREDA work of lighting up remote village markets, solar irrigation pumps in remote areas and solar micro grids in remote tribal areas”, he said.

He also said after the discussion, PM Modi has appreciated the last mile delivery effort made Tripura government.However, sources said the DYCM would also discussed the organizational matter related to Tripura Government.

Deputy Chief Minister also spoke about infrastructure development and asked for central assistance . R D issues to expedite development of rural areas especially the remote tribal areas which have been neglected during CPM rule &  about empowerment of TTAADC and the cabinet decision taken by the ruling BJP-IPFT Government in Tripura.
