Agartala, 30th November 2025: The Raj Bhavan in Tripura will be officially renamed Lok Bhavan starting December 1, 2025.
The announcement was made following instructions from Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, after consultations with the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. According to the statement, the renaming of the Governor’s House is in line with directives issued by the central government.
From the effective date, all official references to the Raj Bhavan will use the new name. Details regarding updates to signage, official documents, and protocol procedures will be shared in the coming days.
