Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the building

On Wednesday morning, 19 Opposition parties, including the Congress, the TMC, the AAP and the NCP made oublic their decision to boycott the programme.

Tapase in a statement accused the BJP of “trying to project” Prime Minister Narendra Modi” ahead of the 2024 general elections. “This is an insult to the democratic traditions of the country,” he said.

All the MPs of the NCP have voiced their displeasure towards this and have decided to boycott the inaugural function, said the leader.
