Agartala, May 25, 2023: An ‘Prayaas’ meeting was organized by the police administration of North Tripura district at an area near Dharmanagar railway station on Thursday.
North district’s Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty, Dharmanagar Police Station OC Shiburanjan Dey, Sub Divisional Police Officer Debashish Saha were present. Members of various charitable organizations of Dharmanagar were also present.
District SP Chakraborty said that many people live and rent in this railway station area, but there is no documentary relationship with them. And using this opportunity, many crimes are being organized from these areas and drugs trade and smuggling are being organized through corridors of these areas.
Therefore, with the aim of making the people living in these areas aware, such an effort meeting was organized, said SP Chakraborty.
