Agartala, June 16, 2023: Even after the minister’s visit, the work culture did not return to the employees of the Division-II office of TSECL located at Banamalipur. A few days back, Power minister Ratan Lal Nath visited the Division-II office of TSECL at Banamalipur of the capital city. Visiting there, he finds that the office has turned into a haunted house, electronic devices are scattered around and the entire office premises is full of weeds and jungle. He expressed dissatisfaction with this and ordered to clean the office.

The office staff started cleaning the office after the minister’s reprimand. This time the scam came to the fore in office cleaning. Government electronic equipment is being smuggled by car under the name of contractor in the name of office cleaning.

After it came to the attention of the media, the matter was taken to the attention of the minister of the department. After learning about this, minister Nath quickly rushed to the Division-II office of TSECL in Banmalipur on Friday. He went there and witnessed the whole incident. He saw electronic equipment being loaded into the car from the office. When Minister Ratan Lal Nath asked about this, no one in the office could give any reply. The office workers had to be threatened by the minister.

The minister asked the office staff if this electronic equipment belonged to the contractor, how did it come to the government office, the in-charge of the office tried to put the responsibility on the previous in-charge. Then the in-charge of the office also had to be threatened. Minister sternly says you have accepted the charge of this office. Everything is in your charge. The minister then gave clear orders to remove the electronic equipment from the vehicle. And he himself stood up and took down the electronic equipment from the car.

Later, while speaking to the media persons, Nath said that the contractor can keep the materials in the government office due to the work. But at the time of taking it, you have to show valid documents. There are doubts about the electronic equipment that was being taken from the Division-II office of Vidyut Nigam at Banmalipur today. So they are kept off the car. The matter will be discussed with the office officials this evening and then decision will be taken.

In the Division-2 office of TSECL located in Banmalipur, one after another, earthworms are coming out as if they were digging. The biggest issue is why the government office will have the contractor’s materials. What happens if the in-charge of the office is not aware of the contractor’s materials being kept? What’s more, the contractor himself says that he has kept the materials in the government office without any proof. Then how come the electronic equipment is being smuggled by car from the Division-2 office of TSECL located in Banmalipur under the name of the contractor. Everyone thinks that there is a deep secret behind it.
