Agartala: July 04. The state Government has made the Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) compulsory in its jobs.
During the cabinet meeting, the Cabinet Ministers of the state on Tuesday has taken this decision.
“Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha the cabinet today decided the PRTC will be required while applying for job by direct recruitment under the state government, corporation, boards, PSUs and etc mandatory. From today in all kind of state government jobs PRTC is necessary with immediate effect. Since last many days discussion were going on this matter and today we have decided mandatory of PRTC. While if the government doesn’t find any candidate with the accurate experience then the government would give chance to outsiders”, said Cabinet Spokesperson Sushanta Chowdhury.
The minister said that the government has taken another decision of procuring 35, 000 MT paddy from farmers.
“Another important decision is that our government will procure 35, 000 MT of paddy from farmers. Since 2018 till now we have brought paddy twice in every year. So far 1.71 lakh MT paddy was procured from farmers and we have spent Rs 327 crores. More than 40 procurement centers will be opened across the state. Rs 85 crore will be spent from state government. By 10th July procurement will be started”, said the minister.
