Agartala: September 24. Tripura Police on Sunday morning has seized banned cough syrups of Rs 4 lakh and arrested four persons from Badharghat located in the outskirt of Agartala city.
Speaking with reporters, Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Souvik De said today morning at around 6AM the officer-in charge of AD Nagar Police station received a tip off that some persons are coming from Agartala Railway Station with some contraband items using a auto.
“Accrodingly the auto was apprehended and during the search operation we have seized 375 bottles of Eskuf Cough Syrups. We have seized all the narcotics and arrested four persons”, said the cop.
