Body of saint recovered in Bishalgarh

Agartala, 10th December 2023:   : In a puzzling turn of events, the Bishalgarh Raghunathpur locality was gripped with shock as the police recovered a dead body of an unknown saint from the balcony of Basana Begum’s house. The incident unfolded on Sunday morning, raising questions about the circumstances leading to the mysterious demise.

 Local residents were startled to discover the body around 11:30 am on Sunday, moments after observing the unidentified saint wandering the area in an intoxicated state. The Bishalgarh police swiftly responded to the scene, recovering the deceased individual and transporting the body to the morgue at Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. Shuklal Banik, the Booth President, shed light on the bizarre situation, stating that the saint had been a constant presence in the area, exhibiting signs of intoxication during his prolonged stay.
