PM Modi leading India towards inclusive development: CM

Agartala: March 13. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday said that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country is rapidly progressing towards development and emphasized that PM Modi is providing guidance for the comprehensive development of those who had never considered it before in society.

 “Prime Minister Narendra Modi signifies people’s trust. He prioritizes the welfare of individuals from all sections of society. Under his leadership, the country is advancing swiftly towards development goals. He is guiding the overall development of those who never envisioned it in society. Let’s not just make people dream; let’s make those dreams come true,” said Dr. Saha.

 Dr Saha said this after he attended the virtual launch of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Samajik Utthan and Rozgar Adharit Jankalyan (PM-SURAJ) portal by PM Modi today. 

The portal is a nationwide initiative aimed at providing credit support to marginalized sections of society. Dr. Saha also attended the PM’s interaction with beneficiaries of various government schemes from disadvantaged groups, including Scheduled Castes, backward classes, and sanitation workers.

 “People can enjoy various benefits from this scheme. Currently, the Schedule Caste Welfare Department provides various scholarships to Scheduled Caste students in the state. They are also given various merit awards, along with different types of loans. This government is aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s directives. PM Modi fulfills his promises, consistently working for the country’s welfare. Recently, he launched the Prime Minister Vishwakarma scheme, allocating about Rs 13 thousand crore in the budget. The Prime Minister is undertaking various initiatives for the betterment of those whom no one had ever considered before,” he explained.

 Dr. Saha highlighted that, due to the government’s sincere efforts, there are approximately 56,000 self-help groups in the state.”The state government, following the Prime Minister’s guidance, is actively working for the people’s welfare, striving for the overall development of the state’s residents with a clear vision,” he added.

 Present at the event were Industry and Commerce Minister Shantana Chakma, Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das, and other distinguished guests.
