Former Chief Minister of Tripura and a Politburo member Manik Sarkar has been at the forefront of these efforts. On a recent day, Sarkar, accompanied by former minister Manik Dey and other supporters, took to the streets of Agartala, Tripura, to collect relief funds at Paradise Choumuhani.

Addressing the public, Sarkar highlighted the dire situation in Kerala and urged the people of Tripura to extend their support. “Kerala has suffered immensely,” he stated. “We must stand by our fellow citizens in their time of need.” His appeal was met with a positive response, as many people came forward to contribute to the relief efforts.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has also made a heartfelt appeal to the nation. “We need more resources to rebuild the region,” he said. “Generous contributions are essential to help those affected by this disaster.” The Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund (CMDRF) has been set up to facilitate donations, and the response has been encouraging.

The people of Tripura have shown remarkable solidarity. “The people of Tripura always stand by the interests of those in need,” Sarkar remarked. “We are seeing a great response, with many coming forward to help voluntarily.”

As rescue operations continue and the community rallies together, the focus remains on providing immediate relief and planning long-term rehabilitation for the affected families.
