Agartala, 5th September 2024:   The body of Manish Deb (45) was found in the Indranagar area of the capital city on Thursday morning. According to his family, Manish had been missing since 7 AM on Wednesday. Despite extensive searches by relatives, he could not be located.

On Thursday morning, his body was found in front of Indranagar High School, leading to an outpouring of grief from his family. The family’s cries alerted locals, who promptly informed the police. Upon arrival, the police notified the forensic team, which conducted various tests before sending the body to GB Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

The family has accused Billal Mia, Sujit Deb, Indrajit Deb, and Bishnu of the area of murdering Manish. They claim that parts of his body were set on fire, and he was found unclothed, suggesting foul play. The family argues that if the body had caught fire accidentally, it would have been entirely burnt. The partial burns, they assert, indicate that he was deliberately killed.
