Agartala, 30th October 2024: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is witnessing all-round development across the country, sparking significant interest in party membership. Lok Sabha MP and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb highlighted this enthusiasm while attending a membership campaign in Ward No. 27 of 13-Pratapgarh assembly constituency on Wednesday.
Accompanied by General Secretary of BJP Pradesh Bhagaban Chandra Das and Agartala Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Manika Das Datta, Deb emphasized the growing support for the BJP. “Till now, more than 10 crore people have become members of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the country,” he stated.
In Tripura, 8 lakh 22 thousand people have already joined the BJP. “Our target was to have 10 lakh members in Tripura, but it seems we will surpass this and reach 11 lakh,” Deb added. The membership campaign will continue until November 15, aiming to further expand the party’s base.
