Agartala, 11th March 2025 : In a sharp critique of the previous CPIM and Congress regimes, BJP State President and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee accused them of failing to bring any developmental progress to Tripura. Speaking in Parliament, Bhattacharjee alleged that the two parties ruled by exploiting the poor without contributing to the state’s growth.
Highlighting the achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Bhattacharjee emphasized the unprecedented economic development in the northeastern region including Tripura. He noted significant improvements in the state’s healthcare services, contrasting it with the lack of initiatives during the CPIM and Congress administrations. He remarked that the previous governments neglected healthcare advancements and accused them of misleading the public with hollow slogans.
Additionally, Bhattacharjee urged Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda to establish a super-specialty hospital in Tripura, modeled after AIIMS, to further enhance the state’s healthcare infrastructure.
