Agartala, 22nd May 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Wednesday left for New Delhi to attend a series of high-level meetings aimed at driving investment and accelerating regional development.

Dr. Saha is slated to participate in the Rising North East Investors Summit on May 23 at 10:30 AM at Bharat Mandapam. The two-day summit, scheduled for May 23–24, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is being positioned as a key initiative to unlock the economic potential of the North Eastern states.

The summit, organized by the Central Government in collaboration with all North Eastern states, follows an extensive run of pre-event activities such as roadshows, state-level roundtables, an Ambassadors’ Meet, and bilateral discussions with industry chambers. On May 24, Dr. Saha is also scheduled to attend the Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, where developmental strategies for the region are expected to take center stage. He is likely to return to Tripura later that evening.

The Chief Minister’s engagements in the national capital are being viewed as critical steps toward positioning Tripura as a strategic investment destination and a key stakeholder in the broader development agenda for the North East.
