Agartala, 8th June 2025: A road mishap took place this afternoon when an auto-rickshaw overturned on the Golaghati–Bishalgarh road near the Ghosher Dokan area in Sepahijala district.
Following this incident, locals immediately informed the fire service personnel, who rushed to the spot and rescued the five injured, taking them to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for medical treatment.
According to reports, the auto-rickshaw bearing registration number TR07A-2596 was traveling from Bishalgarh to Golaghati with passengers. Due to high speed, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which collided with a roadside domestic animal and overturned.
The injured passengers have been identified as Yunus Mia, Biswajit Bhowmik, Rabia Akhtar and Abdul Arian.
