Agartala, September 13, 2023: Ayushman Bhava is a noble initiative by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build healthy villages and healthy cities by bringing health services to every citizen, Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha said on Wednesday.
Her Excellency the President of India Draupadi Murmu inaugurated this special program on Wednesday through video conference. CM Dr Saha participate in this program through virtual medium from the secretariat and initiate this program at state level.
Taking this to social media handles, Dr Saha wrote “Also, we felicitate the philanthropists who have made appreciable contributions in helping TB patients and committed to organ donation.”
“As a part of the Ayushman Bhabha programme, this Seva Pakshakal program will be conducted in three stages from the birth anniversary of the Prime Minister Ji, i.e. September 17, 2023, to the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi Ji, i.e., October 2, 2023”, he wrote.
Meanwhile, this yojana has been launched in all the eight districts of Tripura in an eventful way in presence of Ministers, DMs, Sabhadipatis of Zilla Parishads, Chief Medical Officers’ and Medical Superintendents.
The Ayushman Bhava project will be held from September 17 to October 02. It is an extension of the Ayushman Bharat program that was started in 2018. The project focuses on health and wellness centers that offer various services such as the Prime Minister’s Jan Arogya Yojana, Prime Minister’s Health Infrastructure Mission, Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and Ayushman Bharat School Health and Wellness Program.
The project also aims to make healthy villages, healthy whole parishads, healthy municipalities and healthy nagar panchayats. Therefore, Asha workers and Anganwadi workers are expected to work properly in every ward in different villages to create 100 percent health awareness among the people. The project hopes to build a healthy and prosperous India by 2030.
