Mayor Dipak Majumder celebrates victory of MLA Tofajjal Hossain at Boxanagar

Agartala, September 13, 2023 – Agartala Municipal Corporation’s Mayor Dipak Majumder joined in a jubilant ‘Bijoy Michil’ event held in Boxanagar on Wednesday to commemorate the victory of newly elected MLA Tofajjal Hossain in the recently concluded by-election.

Mayor Majumder expressed his optimism regarding the by-election’s outcome, stating, “Even before the election, we held high hopes for the BJP’s resounding victory in the Boxanagar assembly constituency.”

Reflecting on the pre-election campaign efforts, Mayor Majumder highlighted the overwhelming positivity and support received from the electorate. He noted, “During our door-to-door campaign leading up to the by-election, we witnessed a groundswell of support for the Lotus symbol, representing the BJP. The people were immensely pleased with the pro-people and developmental initiatives undertaken by the BJP-IPFT government, led by Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha.”

Mayor Majumder went on to commend the relentless dedication of party workers, ministers, MLAs, state leaders, and MPs who worked tirelessly to secure the victory of BJP candidates in Boxanagar. He expressed his joy at seeing all these dedicated party members participating in the ‘Vijay Michil’ celebration.

The ‘Bijoy Michil’ event was a testament to the enthusiasm and unity within the BJP as they celebrated their electoral success in Boxanagar.
