Bijoy Sangh Club initiates lunch for Rs 2 for pedestrians

Agartala, June 10, 2023: In a commendable initiative by Bijoy Sangh Club, pedestrians were provided with a nutritious lunch for just Rs 2 on Saturday. This initiative takes place every second Saturday of the month, aiming to support the community. The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including Subal Kumar Dey, the Editor of Syandan newspaper, veteran journalist, philanthropist Rajib Bhattacharjee, local councilors, and prominent individuals from the area.

During the event, the club authorities, along with the guests, handed out lunches to pedestrians, symbolizing their commitment to serving the community. Subal Kumar Dey, who attended the event, lauded the organization of the club authorities and encouraged them to continue such initiatives in the future. He recognized the importance of such initiatives in bringing about positive social change and expressed his support for the club’s upcoming endeavors in the society.

Rajib Bhattacharjee, a dedicated social worker, also commended the club authorities for their praiseworthy initiatives. He emphasized that these initiatives are crucial elements of social transformation. Bhattacharjee further encouraged everyone to come forward and contribute to such noble causes.
