The incident occurred in Madhyam Krishnapur of Radhanagar village panchayat, Rajnagar assembly, where the child, belonging to the family of a day laborer named Arjun Tripura, sustained burns to various parts of his body, including his face. With the family relying on daily wages for sustenance, the financial burden of the child’s treatment weighed heavily upon them.

Upon learning of the distressing situation, Biplab Kumar Deb’s office swiftly dispatched a representative to Shantir Bazar District Hospital to assess the child’s condition and extend assistance.
